Lindsey Burkey brings us a sermon from James 3:9-1. But often the experiences that break us are the most powerful tools that God uses to shape us. The great Potter will allow us to go through things in life that put pressure on us, that squeeze us and allow us to be more fully formed into the image of Christ. James says in chapter 1 to “consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything” (James 1:2-4 NIV).
